“Two hearts
Beat as one–
Set ablaze
But pain felt none.
She laughs, he chuckles,
But no one notices;
Stuck, in their own world–
Happy, thriving, enjoying eachother.
Auburn hair, styled in curls,
With his hand, she dances and twirls.
Gowns flutter and furl,
An endless sight to behold–
But no one once gazes,
At the couple of gold.
Brunette and blonde,
A gorgeous mix–
Something, that I myself, have yet to fix.
He loves her, she loves him,
Nothing could be better in their minds.
The ball;
Such a joyous place–
Filled with laughter, and music,
And a slow-set dancing pace.
Yet no one wonders,
No one ponders,
Not a question why,
As the two, dancing delicately,
Are simply ed by.
And these two hearts, despite ignored,
Are anything but fiction, or fable, or a story to tell when bored.
These two hearts are real as can be,
Yet not concerned of you or me.
Happy with eachother, lost in their eyes,
Just like other people
Who have ed them by.
Dancing the night away,
Both enjoying the company the other provides,
Until the ball ends,
And they bid everyone goodbye.”
I tried but I'm running with little sleep and pure caffeine :sob:
