paper birds
paper birds with paper edges and paper hearts
and paper eyes with healing creases
and painful beaks and edges for a madwoman in a tower
a paper swallow to stab a tigers heart and a moon made out of paper resting in the sky
a woman with wild hair, grieving because of her lost daughter
a daughter thought dead as the woman, locked in a Tower,
creates paper from the air and paper from the sky
and transforms atoms from the world and builds herself wings to fly
as a Simply Enormous Dragon itches out of his skin and becomes more of his size
paper birds line the skies with their trained hope and silver and blue magic
and as a Witch young and old and filled of sorrow battles another Witch filled of hope and starlight and the crescent moon
strength draining as a Luna makes the world turn for a Poet that rose from a Bog
and as the town of sorrow hides the boy filled with scars
from all those birds; he realizes his scars led him to his Ethyne
paper birds, paper cranes, paper people, paper planes, paper carriages and coachmen
paper ink with maps drawn on them
She is here, she is here
wrapped in clocks lined with blue magic
from the spaces between the atoms, the madwoman meets her daughter
and the folds of the creases the hopeful Witch has to die
paper birds give out this light
this hope to the town where the Tiger Heart may no longer prowl and feed of the grief
She is here, She is here, She is here
