The story of misery

The way this world is built

On lies and misery

Is truly terrible

For everyone to see

And while there's so much more than pain

We can't take it away without facing it

Without truly realising the tears we've caused

So I'll tell you these stories

And pray such misery won't befall me

✿♡✿

First there were two teens

A boy and a girl, both young and naive

They'd been friends since childhood

And slowly fell in love more every day

But this sweet love story was cut of at sixteen

The people had hatred in their eyes

And screamed selfish words

Cutting through their skin

It became them against the world

But it wasn't a heroic fight

They slowly drowned in the hatred

And started believing in their words

So they turned to each other

And the decision wasn't hard

They'd continue in heaven

And now they're gone

Then here's another story

Of two boys who were best friends

They had met years ago on summer camp

And had been good friends ever since

But they loved each other

Yet never realised this love

Afraid of getting rejected

They both never confessed

And so their love remains unsaid

And it stays unseen

But the burden of unrequited love

Got to much so they both left

And it tore their heart apart

To move away to another world

And they both wished they could stay

But neither ever did so they broke

But I'm not done yet

A boy and a girl both carried the pain

Of the evil in their parents

So they made a bet to each other

It took a long time and a lot of effort

As they worked and saved up some money

So they could escape this terrible cycle

And nothing will erase the memories

But the boy managed to get enough

And he ran away

Leaving the girl behind

So he could get a better life

But every day he can't help but wonder

What happened to that young girl oh so sweet

If she ever got away

And he almost regretted the decision not to stay

All of these people have lived an lost

This is in the past so we can't change it

But what we can do is to help

Make sure that nobody else gets such a story

So never judge people based on appearances

Never spout hateful words

Never ignore the kind things you want to say

And always lend a helping hand

So that the world becomes just a bit better today
