I touch the familiar pages that fall
In between the covers.
The pages have a somewhat worn
Look to them as my fingers parade
Through its vast pages.
The story is one that I know well
For I have read it multiple times in
My life and will continue to do so.
The enticing tale draws me in making
Me forget the day and the ugliness of
The world around me that pulls a person
Downward making the hours murky than
Before.
The solitude that I find in those pages
That bring me into a world where adventure
Awaits you bringing a sense of importance
As you bond with each meaningful
Character.
As the author opens each chapter
You sink into the story just a little more
Until you have forgotten the reality of your
Troubles that aile you.
Once the quest is finished you feel a sense
Of accomplishment that eminates from your
Soul saying that you are ready for another
Heart felt challenge that changes the
Known world.
