When I am old, I will you.
I will your brown eyes.
I will your small smiles.
I will you.
I will how you cheered.
I will how you laughed.
I will you.
I will your love for God.
I will your love for your family.
I will you.
I will how you made me smile.
I will how you gave me butterflies.
I will you.
I will how you never looked back.
I will how I never caught your glance.
Unfortunately, I will that.
Etched in my memory.
Branded to my brain.
I will never forget you.
But, I wish you the best.
So that when you’re old,
you can smile, like you did before.
