The flu lasts for a week or so,

and then you’re good to go.

Sickness popping in for second,

but only for the second mentioned.

Sometimes sickness leaves a nasty taste,

my vision and sight have gone to waste.

Though only two years old, so I don’t know

how I’ll make it, but I will grow.

My parents take me to someone for help,

and they soon take me to a well.

I feel something across my hands: water!

proud parents: to talk, they finally taught her.

I will not just sit desperate and alone.

I’ll pave a new life, making it my own.
