Deep in her evergreen eyes

Despite all the nightmares,

No matter how many times she’s hospitalized.

Everyone thinks that she’s insane,

But she’s just drowning in fear.

No one told her life was so mundane,

That imaginary friends eventually disappear.

She can’t help but miss

The days when she was young,
