:rainbow: Day 13: Childhood Memories

sitting together at the creek

slippery rocks underneath our toes

melting popsicles in our sticky hands

smiles on our faces

and voices full of laughter

when we jump in

shivers and giggles

as we look at each other's faces

and see the sun reflect off of the water

bruised knees

cuts and scrapes

we fall together, get hurt together

laugh together, sing together

childish wonder

as we play together every day

sleepovers with pillow fights

playing footsies under the table at dinner time

cracking up at night

I love you so much

and we've been through a lot,

petty arguments and small grudges

but none of that matters

with you I will always be happy

you're the closest to me, and my heart

I care about you
