a poem about a lot of things.

stardust in the sky that litters throughout the golden soil among our feet that astounds the living heck out of us. and i never even knew that we could be beautiful as one body together, one galaxy where two stars could live in peace, but we can, and it’s the most glorious thing to see a true smile reach your eyes. so while we bleed in the solitude of ignorance that people seem to believe in oh so much, i will dance with you upon the Milky Way that carries our feet to our souls. and so becomes us the epic love story of two people, one of which was blessed with pure selflessness, and the other the opposite. and yet bleeding down to the core with our emotions and salty tears will not get us anywhere unless we accept the other, treasure our counterpart. you were always my rival in every way, silver and gold, salt and pepper, a ticking clock and a ticking bomb. but oh, how proud and blessed i am to know someone who can compare me to a dumpster truck and still make me sound beautiful. i could compare you to the stars in your eyes, but it would not do you justice. peace is the torch that you use to carry you from one dark place to another.
