Simply in love

I am now in the “forever” phase,

Far gone from what Honeymoon was.

Instead of going through the complexities of trying to describe what this feels like;

It’s simply someone being in love.

Being around him felt better during his natural environment;

Daytime.

I guess at times it’s like holding the sun in my arms,

Allured by his warmth and shine.

Hell could make me blind, but my eyes forever stays,

On him.

The contradiction between me wishing and not for others to realize his beauty is strong

Eyes; Told me his love first before his lips.

Lips; with words to back-up his gazes.

Fingertips; writes constant love letters across my body.

I’d step down from being a “prince” just to be your knight, if it meant protecting you.

Everything could seem like it’s burning around you,

Be tormented by demons,

Have nights of needing to barricade yourself away

I will…

Put out the flames and kiss the burns away from your knuckles.

Go into the deepest of shadows to help fight your demons; being unsure of winning is unimportant.

And no matter how long it’ll take, I’ll sit on the other side of the door till you’re ready to be in my arms.
