The Mighty Mountain ⛰

Wind sweeping up, up, up, flakes of the most intricate snowflakes drift and swirl and dance in unison - collecting on the icy ledge of the mountain one by one... until the path no longer showed and a thick blanket of snow replaced its wake.

Silence, all you could hear was silence - pure and utter silence deafening your ears, your mind, your soul - as you stood, alone, on top of a mountain.

A literal mountain.

Free as a bird, you gaze down below at the people living their own lives (unaware that you were watching them; like a hawk to its prey) and feel at ease. When was the last time you felt this way? And have you ever?

I have surely not for a very, very long time - not on the height of a mountain so tall, so concealed.

And the snow covered me and you, and you and me, until the world became a beautiful shade of brillant white. No worries, no pain here on this mighty mountain. Not before, not ever.

And that was all.
