(Read before voting)
Okay so I'm trying to decide on whether to get a 40-gallon breeder for my hamster or a 75 gallon.
40 gallon is smaller and I have a lot more places for it in my room. It's also a lot more practical.
75 gallon is larger and taller so it provides more room. I only really have one spot where a 75 gallon could go, meanwhile I have multiple places I could put the 40 gallon. The main thing I'm worried about with the 40 gallon is space. It's only 16 inches tall so a bit harder to put a 12-inch wheel in. (I Know you can't fit one you just have to keep one side very low on bedding) I really want the 75 gallon as it has more space so I can add more hides and make it more interesting. But it's a lot less practical, and a lot harder to maneuver around. Plus idk where I would put it if I needed to store it.
I'm kind of torn between the two.
