A field mouse got into my room, we believe last night. We didn't know he was in here until this afternoon. My bunny and rats seem unharmed and pretty indifferent about his presence. I'm trying to catch him for everyone's safety, including his, but I was wondering if I should keep my guard up and stay in here at all times, or leave him alone for a few hours so he can come out and it'll be easier to find him.
There's a mouse in my room. Should I be worried?

I would try to get a humane trap and catch it. Rats have been known to kill mice, so I would definitely keep my guard up in that instance. Field mice are huge scavengers and they may find themselves near either cage and could wind up dead or hurting your other pets. Whereas field mice are very small, their teeth and the diseases they carry can do a lot of harm.
I agree. I just don't know how to set up a trap that my rabbit/rats won't get into

As long as your rats/ rabbit aren’t free roaming 24/7 I wouldn’t worry about that. Field mice are most active at night, so you can keep the trap out at night and put it back up during the day. We’ve had a few in my house and that’s when we hear them the most. You can look up simple humane traps that don’t require much space or time that will help catch it.

Thnx
He shouldn’t be a harm to the rats depending on the bar space
The bunny would likely kill it immediately, even by mistake, so yeah
I’d just make sure that if somehow one of your animals killed it, or got injured, they didn’t eat it. And perhaps have animal-safe wound disinfectant on hand in case they get bitten. Fortunately, due to a mouse’s small size, its unlikely to do a whole lot of damage physically, but still a precaution to take in case of disease
