So clover is bleeding still, I don’t know what to do!? Here is a clearer shot of her bleeding and her nipples, does it look like the fur is coming out around them? Ah geez I’m so worried,
also do any of you have advice for changing a stubborn persons mind? My rats don’t live with me cause my grandma doesn’t want them here for these reasons
•her cat will eat them
(Total nonsense since my cat never got to them and hunted mice All the time and her cat won’t even chase a mouse)
•there’s no room
(They will live in my room in a smaller cage since it will be a maternity cage)
I’m not trying to convince her to let me bring them all, Just clover and the babies if she turns out to be pregnant

If she's pregnant then I suggest making a power point / google slide explaining facts why you need to have her stay there, explain facts about pregnancy for rats, facts about cats and how you'll keep the two away from eachother, etc.
I don't know much about rats and giving birth but I know that it usually takes around 21 days and then they give birth
it’s probably spotting! but if she es any blood clots or larger amounts of discharge or blood than she is, I would get her checked out!
Thank you!
I don’t know but good luck with the babies!
Thank you!
I would say it’s just spotting. Even humans spot when they are pregnant sometimes. Only be concerned if it becomes a lot of blood. If it’s just a little bit she’ll be fine. Just make sure you check up on her every day if possible. She looks a little too far along to have a miscarriage, however she could have still born babies if something were wrong so just keep checking up on her. Spotting is natural so just watch it and if it becomes a lot then I’d take her to a vet if possible :) hope everything goes well!
Thank you so much :sob: :sob: :yellow_heart: :yellow_heart:

Ofcourse! If you have any more questions about her during her pregnancy please message me! Although I’ve never dealt with rats I use to deal with horses giving birth quite frequently so I know a thing or two when it comes to animal babies :)

No problem but don't quote me on that cause that's just an estimation.
