I've been planning on buying a new set of rats soon, and wanted to change my bedding, since it got pushed out of the cage...

are there any colors you suggest, so the ,stains, aren't visible?

Also, how would you attach it?

Is anything supposed to be under/over it?

Sorry for so many questions! I want to be prepared

You could put it over some cardboard and then put it in the cage (that's what I do to cover the wire at the bottom of my rats' cage) but most levels in rat cages are removable so you should be able to to put it around each level using safety pins or binder clips ^^

• Anything but white would hide the stains, just from experience.

• You can attach the fleece with binder clips, they work like a charm.

• Puppy pads definitely. Fleece is absorbent but eventually it can seep through and puppy pads catch whatever the fleece doesn’t

You can also use uhaul liners and paper towels if you dont want puppy pads and if you do use them make sure it doesnt say neutralizes odors because they may use baking soda (glad makes activated carbon ones I like them a lot)

It does, since rats pee a lot it seeps through, so you’re supposed to put something underneath it
