At birth, a gender is assigned by the medical profession or family, depending on the circumstances.
Along with that assigned gender comes stereotypical pronouns.
For those who are cisgender, it's absolutely no problem.
They are already known by their correct identity.
When it comes to everyone else, the assigned gender is a mismatch and the pronouns follow suit.
Your pronouns are part of your identity and that must be respected.
