yes he should've told his team. that way they wouldn't have yelled at him. doesn't matter either way because at the end of the day. Slade knew he was Red X. Robin even said so himself.
Or, maybe, he didn't. Maybe, Robin only suspected that Slade knew that he was Red X. Only Slade would be able to say whether he knew or not. If you knew something, only you would be able to say that you knew. But. That's just my cents.

I would agree with you. however Robin met with him about the chip. Slade said patience you can't expect me to trust you with sensitive information right away. can you Robin, then his eyes lid up. Slade knew. even Robin said it doesn't matter Slade figured it out, and he still hasn't figured anything about him. I would recommend to go back and watch that episode again. or watch a clip or something.
He needed absolutely nobody to know that he was under cover, because, if his friends were to find out, Terra and Slade would find out, too

Terra wasn't introduced until season 2 and even then, I don't know if she knows that Robin was Red X for some time. However, I somewhat agree with your statement.
