Backstory: Some many moons after leaving home to adventure and experience the world for herself Aria would have stop and take shelter on an island from a coming storm. Finding a nicely sheltered spot in a cave She would set up camp before hearing the sudden bellow of a dragon.

Going out to investigate Aria would find the LeatherBack snagged by an old razor net that had entangled it. Injured and disorientation from remaining the dragon trap for so long and feel the razor sharp lines dig into it's hide the dragon would only lay on the ground and watched as Aria moved closer.

Aria wouldn't hesitate to free the dragon as her people had found a balancing peace with many species and using a dagger she'd begin to carefully cut the weakspots of the net until the Smoldering LeatherBack was freed however

Once managing to coax the dragon to her sheltering cave she'd return to find her ship being smashed up against the shore damaged by rocks hitting the lower hull during the storm. Regardless she'd use what ever supplies she had on the ship including her medical knowledge to survive and provide care for the dragon and herself.

As time went on she would bond with the dragon and together grew to be a team.

Eventually with the help of her new dragon companion HeatShade allowing her to ride on her back and swim across the ocean water between islands before making enough money to buy a new ship, by then they would work together to catch bounties and free dragons from trappers. With the ironic twist of the trappers causing the deep friendship of these two because of one of their own traps they left behind.
