I don't know if anyone else has noticed or heard about this- on here anyways since there are forums and post chains on Reddit and such- but Trollhunters has a few HTTYD easter eggs.
One I noticed and one I didn't, so theoretically-
Omg wait sudden thought, more evidence, Gobber(in first movie) said that trolls exist and they steal socks. Trolls love eating socks in trollhunters.
Just food for thought honestly, since it's just a theory, A FILM THEORY

Love this idea I mean the stawklings (if that's there name) are as close to Dragons baring striklers changling wings, also love that Mace's and talons is one of the Easter eggs ^^

Trollhunters is very underrated in my opinion. I had binge watched the entire series then the movie and I enjoyed it. Though the movie felt rushed and the ending ruined everything but I won't spoil. I like the idea, dragons exist in Trollhunters and trolls exist in httyd
