Please note to be a curator you must be prepared for what the job entails; you will have angry s who flag you for doing your job, people will verbally abuse you when you disable their posts, and more.
The job of being a curator is both rewarding and stressful, and sometimes there is a fine line between choosing when to be a friend and when to be a . Please do not apply for the position if you’re not 100% prepared to handle all that comes with it.

☆Requirements☆
• You must be level 11 or higher
• By the time the recruitment period is over, you must be have been here 150 days or longer
• You must be thirteen years of age or older; this is due to the fact you’re not legally permitted to be using this app if you’re under the age of thirteen
• Your application must be made in the format of a post: not a wiki, not a private message, not a comment on this post; if put in comments, you won’t be considered
• Your application must be posted during the right time frame (from the time we allow you to post your application to whenever the application period ends); if posted before the allowed date, you won’t be considered
• You cannot recycle previous applications
• You must answer all questions truthfully and fully
• You don’t take hiatuses “just because”. There must be a true reason behind a hiatus (mental issues, family issues, finals, etc.)
• You will be allowed to post starting October 23rd (Saturday)
• Your last day to apply is October 24th (Sunday), at 11:59 EST.
• Results will be posted within the week. If we end up not selecting someone, a notice post will be made.

What would be your way of dealing with a (as a curator) that has broken the community guidelines? Here are 5 hypothetical situations we have created for you to answer.
Scenario 1:
Staff member A has claimed that Staff member B has been bullying them in private messages, and comes to you with evidence of the claim. Staff member B is demoted as a consequence. Upon ing the member accused of bullying, they deny all the claims, can prove they never bullied, and instead also send you evidence that A has been harassing them and is framing them. .
How would you go about handling the issue and resolving it in the best way possible?

Scenario 2:
Through the ERC, private report, or you yourself finding it, you come across a who has stolen an OC/ripped off an existing character’s design. You disable any posts/wikis of theirs with this character and them, explaining the stance this Amino has on character theft, and you have the original posted character on standby if you need it. The dismisses your claims, saying they have always owned this character and begin to flame you despite having solid proof they do not own the character.
How would you go about handling the issue and resolving it in the best way possible?

Scenario 3:
Member 1 comes to you in PM claiming Member 2 is scamming them out of a commission, explaining they had bought one a couple of weeks prior to ing you, but they still have not received an update. Member 2 is online quite often and can be seen communicating and showing drawings in public chats.
How would you go about handling the issue and resolving it in the best way possible?

A troll starts spamming the latest feed with over a dozen posts in a minute. No other s are online while they’re spamming the posts, and most s are normally offline during that time of day.
How would you go about the issue and resolve it in the best way possible?

Situation 5:
You recently disabled a wiki lacking both art credit and sentences. They are a you’ve had with before, disabling content on their page here and there as it violated the guidelines. You the member, explaining the wiki was disabled, why it was disabled, and how they can fix it to where it can be enabled.
The member s the conversation. Not before long, they’re spitting fire at you. They tell you that you’re a power abusive who targets for the littlest things. They list off previous incidents where their friend’s content and their own content have been disabled (with proper reason, which they don’t mention). They continue to go off at you, acting out rudely and aggressively.
How would you go about the issue and resolve it in the best way possible? What if Member 1 causes issues with how you handle the situation? How would you overcome these issues?

Are we allowed to work on it before the start date but only submit it on the start date?
You can work on it beforehand, the whole point of having a later start date is so people can work on it and have it ready when you're allowed to post them!
