Been thinking of a story taking place in pre hiccup times, where dragons are still hunted by the Hooligan tribe. And up on the mountain side of Berk, lived a mother Andora fury, named Tove, and her only cub, named Herleif. These titles were given by Valka, who regularly snook away from her husband Stoick, chief of the village, to explore the island alone. To when she had met Herleif, who enjoyed Valka's company so much, that Tove understood her peaceful nature and respect twords dragons, and let her stay around, albeit reluctantly. Valka did keep that trust bond though, by occasionally bringing food to Tove, since scavenging for food on the island was a suicide mission for a beast like her. Valka knew that if the Vikings, or even worse her husband, ever found out where she was going every night, these dragons would be slain faster than a terrible terror in the great hall. It was her duty to protect these dragons and conceal their location to the best of her abilities.

I'm not gonna completely spoil what happens but yeah,,it's a tragedy story. BUT here's some wholesomeness instead :3
