I used to use the dice set that most reminds me of a character, I then went on for a short while to buying a dice set ad hoc for a new character I intended to play. This was back when I was playing a lot more dnd, right now I use the dice I bought while I didn’t get to play dnd during quarantine because I want to give them some play time. So at the time I don’t use dice perfect for the character I’m playing.

One time I did so, completely out of luck, was when I was playing Tocktokk, I was using the dice in the pic. I say out of luck because I didn’t buy the dice, a friend of mine got them for me as a souvenir from Washington. And they were perfect because Tocktokk is an orc from the Skyrim province, and in the videogame orcish weapons and armor are crafted with orichalcum ore, which is very similar to the dice in the set. I sometimes call them malachite dice because it too is green like the dice although not the right shade, and I get the two names confused. Those dice have treated me very well, contrary to the ones I’m using right now that seem to never roll above 9 except on wisdom checks.
