Uncommon children + my thoughts on them

So, I took some of your guys suggestions and drew them up! It was actually interesting seeing what came out.

Tiefling and Aasimar

This was interesting to me despite it being not a unique concept. It posed a lot of thoughts on the tension the child would have to face if they lived with their celestial parent. I see they’d be frowned upon for being partial tiefling and would try to be made to look more “appropriate” (like how they have a golden ring to form their horns). You can come up with a lot of angst for this type of character and even create a good backstory.

[Cuckoo] Aarakocra and Half Orc

I can see them being mistaken for an Aarakocra and Orc offspring because you don’t see much human in them. They’d inherit the wings and feathers but their bones would be too dense, so they couldn’t fly (at most, they could glide). They’d probably be an outcast to other Aarakocra’s but maybe seen as a little weird to half orcs. They’d probably expect them to fly too, but since they can’t, it can be a lot of pressure.

Lizardfolk and Tabaxi

This was the most jarring to draw cause they weren’t humanoid. None the less, I still had fun! They wouldn’t have fur and have scales instead or just skin. They would have lizard eyes but still have their cat like senses. I feel that they’d generally be an outcast if they weren’t cool or beneficial (I mean, cat like acrobatics + lizard armor is cool).

Goblin and [High] Elf

Big gremlin vibes. They look considerably “normal” so I don’t think they’d deal with too much social outcast by others but maybe be made fun of for being short by other high elves. But ye, I have nothing else for them.

I got two other children on the way but tell me your thoughts! What do you think these children would face and how would they fair in your campaign?
