So ittedly this post is a rather serious one as I have a question for you lovely people and the question is is it ok to still be into dnd even though it has a past coated in racism? I tried asking the internet but nothing related to my question came up so I have gone to the ever (hopefully) reliable amino to get the answer to my question

Well you are asking the internet for such an answer xD but I will try to answer seriously here.

The two questions you need to ask yourself are:

Do you like to play dnd?

And secondly, does the history of it matter to you to be able to play it?

Cause dnd has been accused of so many things throughout the years since first edition to the last. But what you are refering to sounds more like a community problem, not a game problem. Just find a group which wont be, and you should have a fun time playing.

Then there is your answer! If you want to try it out, be our guest.

The only thing you need to do is find the right party. There is a saying "There is not a group for every player, but there is a player for every group"
