I’m pretty excited for #WE106. Character creation is a lot of fun for me! Me personally, I’m all about aesthetic and flavor. I LOVE creating the backstories and personalities for characters.
For the start though, a lot of my characters are just ideas that I think are interesting. Take Lume, for example. I’ve been very interested in making candles myself, which was the inspiration for a cleric who made candles for their god. Another one of my characters is Kithri Marshwalker, who is a barbarian halfling. I really loved the idea of a small character full of rage. And then many of my other characters are just other pieces of who I am, really.
For Kithri, the idea of race and class were already decided. But for the most part, when I choose the race and class I tend to just go with what I feel is right. I am trying to experiment with as many classes and races as I can so I often try to figure out new combinations! I do occasionally keep in mind the bonus stats that come with each of them but that’s not always make it or break it with me. Or in many cases I try to figure out which gaps I could fill in, in of what our parties have or could use. But generally I just choose what I think is fun. (◕‿◕✿)

That first one is a very important question to ask. If you can only answer one of those, that’s the one I’d focus on. The other ones can easily be answered in time! But it’s always good to have an important reason as to why they’re adventuring/why they have certain goals aha

I can say that my character was "mind-controlled" by this...fey and i think i should talk to my DM about it, the being probably needs him to do something important that only they know.
It also made my character have a very strict of anti-Mindcontrolling spell usage
I do think that his main objective would be to know what the fey has planned of him in the future.

Then I say you’re in pretty decent shape! Try not to sweat the little details too much. I think you’ve got a good story going on :blush:
