Idk if anyone actually cares about this but I will continue to write these :)

Kita freezes, she’d never been good with introducing herself. “Oh-oh! Yes there is a spare room in the back...just one though. I’m..uhm..I’m Kita, Kita Ladislava.” She stutters. She steps aside and invites Roseanne inside. Roseanne nods in appreciation, ducking her head as she enters the small shop.
“I thank you for allowing me inside, the Nowhere nights can be anything but merciful.” She looks around, iring the wide variety of plants on display. Kita on the other hand was iring the two large swords attached to either side of this woman’s belt. “So I assume this is some kind of apothecary?” Roseanne states, lifting the leaves of one of the plants with care. Kita shakes her head, “n-no, I’m a botanist, I sell rare herbs and plants to travelers mostly” she explains.
The atmosphere of the room is strangely tense. Kita had invited a stranger into her home and now hadn’t the slightest clue what to do. “So, Umm, what are you doing here? The southwest bazaar isn’t exactly a busy place.” She asks, caution lacing her tone.
Roseanne turns to look at her, crossing her arms back behind her back. “Well, we didn’t intend to make a stop, we were heading for the Killoseum when we had a run in with a large group of bandits. They took out a few of our soldiers so we had to make a stop.” She explains. She pushes her glasses up giving a half smile. “I apologise for any trouble we’ve caused you, but I assure we won’t be staying more than one night.”
Kita sighs with relief, glad that she’d be alone again come tomorrow. In the meantime though, she would have to put her very limited housekeeping skills into action. “Well, would you care for some tea? I’ll go and get the room ready. While there isn’t a bed, there is a thick blanket to keep the chill off, I hope that’s ok” she says timidly. “Yes, yes. I can assure that that will suffice. I’ve slept in much worse conditions” Roseanne assures. Kita nods and runs to grab a tea pot and some cups. She starts brewing some chamomile, hoping it’ll help her sleep through the night despite the crushing sense of anxiety that came with allowing a stranger to sleep under her roof.
She returns to Roseanne, handing her a cup of tea. Roseanne accepts it gratefully, taking a sip. “Well, follow me, the room’s this way” Kita says, leading Roseanne to the back of the shop. She opens the door and allows Roseanne inside, “Well, I’ll let you get settled I suppose, Umm, sleep well” she says, giving a small wave before closing the door and heading back to her own room.
She slumps her head onto the pillow, letting out an exasperated sigh. But still, there was something strangely familiar about this woman. Paragon...that name. She could swear she’d heard it somewhere before. He thoughts eventually fade into nothingness, as she finally gives in to sleep.
