A Scene I Wrote to the Song Birthday Suit

Camera stays a few feet away from a pair of legs that are walking briskly. The person is wearing black dress shoes and black dress pants.

"Weighed down by morning"

Camera cuts to a profile view of someone's torso as they walk briskly. They're wearing a red shirt with a gold band wrapped around their mid section. Their shoulders and arms are bare up to a certain point where a golden band meets red fabric. The fabric sways to indicate how quickly they're walking.

"In my birthday suit"

Camera cuts to the other mans left side body, his arm reaching into a erby's breast pocket and takes his wallet. His arms and torso are covered with a black dress coat, and his hand is covered with a dull white glove. You can see the lower half and side half of the man's head. He has black hair and is wearing a black top hat.

He takes the wallet and pockets it into his right pant pocket.

"Lift up the evening"

Camera cuts to other mans legs and 1/4 of his torso as he weaves in and out of the Crowd. His hands are balled into fists, he's wearing black gloves that only cover three fingers and the top of his hand. His red sleeves are long enough to be in the shot, they're open. His pants are grey and his boots are brown with gold trimmings on the soles and toes. The red shirt covers a bit of his waist.

"Just for a while"

Man in black reaches his right arm out to take another wallet from somebody's purse. He pockets it and feels someone's eyes burning into the back of his skull.

Camera cuts to the other mans face, but only from his nose to his neck. He grits his teeth.

"Backwards upside down and inside out"

He tenses his shoulders which makes them rise to his face as he picks up his pace, weaving through the crowd.

Camera cuts to man in black taking two more wallets out of erby's pockets and bags.

"So hold on or we'll all fall"

Camera slows down as the man in black turns his head to the side, showing the camera his face as he looks at the man following him.

"Down"

The man in black turns his head back in front of him and picks up the pace yet again while weaving through the crowd, now only taking easy targets.

"Oh heave"

Camera has the same effect as it did the man but it's in front of the other man as his face is showed to reveal an angry Null. His look intensifies, anger.

"The oceans do"

The erby's stop as if time itself has stopped. The two faces come up on screen.

"Won't you"

Time starts again as the man in black starts running through the crowd, not bothering to take anymore wallets.

"I'll keep my ears on"

Camera cuts back to Null as his eyes widen for a moment before the same look of determination covers his face. He starts running too, ready to catch the man.

"I'll keep my eyes open"

The man in black slides into an alleyway and starts running. Camera is 3/4 of his body as he runs.

Camera cuts to Null turning the corner.

"I'll keep my legs in sight"

The camera is steady but in his POV as he runs after him.

The man in black suddenly turns a corner and disappears.

"And wait til we all fall down"

Null stands there, camera looking up at him from 3/4. He's breathing hard and his chest rises with each inhale. His shoulders do the same.

Camera cuts to in front of Nulls face as he glares darkly and shuts his eyes.

Screen goes black
