I’ve started writing a fanfic

Greetings and salutations! I’ve started writing a fanfic (it’s undertaker X reader because I had a request on Wattpad). I really like how it’s going so please give me your thoughts and any criticism! HERE WE GO

It had been days, your horse was gone and you had used up the last of your water. The heat of the sun was beating down on you, your sunburnt face squinting up at the sun. You continued to walk, your feet starting to drag. You could feel yourself getting weaker and weaker until you collapsed. Your bony body thumping against the hard, dry dirt. “Is this the end?” You thought, your breathing getting slower. That’s when he arrived.

A tall skinny man with curly brown hair looked down at you. Using the last of your energy, you weakly whimper “please... please help me”. Clearly caught by surprise, he stumbled back. “So you’re still alive huh? That’s mighty impressive friend” he said, pushing up his glasses. “Tell ya what, I’ll take you to a safe place until your strong enough to be on your way. How’s that sound?”. He smiled as you weakly nodded. He scooped you up in his arms and placed you in a coffin. That’s when you blacked out.
