Hateno village is the second village the game tells you go to go. It is found east of Kakario Village in East Necluda, near the coast.

This town is important in the story as you are sent here by Impa in order to upgrade your Sheikah Slate. Pura will upgrade the Slate twice; once to unlock the camera and the compendium, and the second time to upgrade your bomb and statis rune.

Apart from this, Hateno Village contains the Kochi Dye Store, where you can change the colour of some of your clothing. It can be accessed from Dueling Peaks in the West.
