My Smash Fighter’s

Let’s give this a go.

I personally want the next few DLC characters to be in represented franchises, so here we are. Now let’s get into why they should be in Smash.

Viridi

My favorite female video game character of all-time. Viridi originates from Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS, and she takes the role as the goddess of nature who works against the human race. She pushes her hatred aside to assist Pit in defeating Hades later on in the story.

I want her. She already has her wooden staff as a weapon which could make some cool ariels, tilts, and neutrals, and her army: the Forces of Nature for her specials. Her domain is nature, that’s pretty neat.

King Boo

King Boo primarily hails from the Luigi’s Mansion installments, where he takes the role as the antagonist and locks Mario in a painting to leave Luigi the duty to rescue his brother.

His moveset could be really unique. Using Boos to assist with his attacks, his crown could be useful for something, (maybe like k.rool’s side b), and maybe some portrait ghosts could return in his moveset. He’s a prominent figure in representing Luigi’s mansion.

I would’ve replaced King Boo with Waluigi, since he’s the most popular character that represents the Mario spin-offs, but that’s a bumpy road.

Tingle

Tingle comes from the Legend of Zelda franchise, and the spin-off series Tingle. In the Zelda franchise, Tingle serves the role of a map salesman, at least in Majora’s Mask. However, in the Tingle series (Freshly-Picked Rosy Rupeeland and Balloon Trip of Love), Tingle is a regular human that gets transformed into Tingle and adventures to collect rupees or to smite witches.

The Zelda series is dying for a newcomer, especially since three of the five Zelda characters are Links. He could be a wacky character compared to the more serious characters in the Zelda line in Smash. I think we need more fun characters like him, so Tingle would be a great fit.

Krystal

Krystal originates from Star Fox, and serves as an ally for Fox. She harnesses extrasensory perception which she uses to foresee danger, according to Star Fox: Assault.

Krytal is one of the few main characters in the franchise that hasn’t been a newcomer yet. She differs from the rest of the cast, due to her ability to briefly sense danger. She was considered for Brawl, but was scrapped in favor for Wolf, since he took less time to develop.

Let’s see Sakurai retreat to his original plans and make a return for Krystal.

Dixie Kong

Dixie Kong comes from the Donkey Kong franchise, where she takes the role of one of the Kongs against K. Rool, or whoever the antagonist of the later games is.

Aside from Cranky, she’s one of the last few Donkey Kong protagonists to be a character, even though her inclusion could complete the set. Her hair is often used as a powerful weapon, so we could get some cool ideas for attacks from that.

K. Rool was added, let’s get Dixie in here as well.
