Sonic Forces is one of those typical games that you either love or hate completely and I don't hate the game, but I just don't think it's as good as its predecessor Sonic Generations which was really great! Sonic Forces is too short, not a great story, bad controls etc. what this game did well is the music!
And a lot more.
but that cannot save everything. I like Sonic! he is one of my childhood heroes! but such a game really disappoints me.
what I find most annoying is that I was not normally hyped. Every day I talked about it, every day I watched the trailer, every day I was making up theories... and that led to disappointment. If I wasn't so hyped it was probably another game sequel that disappointed me the most. I really hope that SEGA will give some thought to the Sonic games and that they will release such a great Sonic game as Sonic Unleashed... because oh man that is fucking great!
