This is my best of Wii U Blog, I've played many Wii U games, and my favorites are these picks.

It was super hard to make this list and at the end I will list games that almost made the list.

5. Super Smash Bros U

My favorite game before the Wii U came out was Smash Brawl, and this holds up to it in my mind. It has lots of iconic and balanced out (Unlike in Brawl) characters. You can train your Amibos to become stronger, battle fandoms online, or just have a blast with friends. This is the greatest fighting game series of all time.

4. Super Mario Maker

I originally thought this was a dumb idea when it came out a little over a year ago, but then my friend thought it was a great idea and he convinced me to get it. So I did and I loved it. You create Mario levels and post them for people to play, although I only got 2 medals or so, and could only around 20 courses, it is still a great experience. You can play event courses made by Nintendo and others and earn characters you can put in your levels to play as. that I said it came out around a little over a year ago, people still post just as much as at launch. There was a lot to say about that game.

3. Nintendo Land

Many people dislike this game, and I don't see why. It has many games inside of the games like Zelda, Metroid, and Pikmin, which are around 20 (if I'm correct) levels. They simulate what the actual games are like but not quite as hard. Nintendo Land also has minigames you can play with friends, like the Mario Chase minigame, Luigi Mansion minigame, and the Animal Crossing minigame. And finally, Nintendo Land has a bundle of single player minigames which aren't super fun, but will get time spent if you are bored.

2. Splatoon

This game I cannot say a lot about because when I got it I didn't have much free time and then sort of lost interest, but when I was playing the game, it was a blast. You can play a super fun multiplayer where you try to cover the most turf with your teams color paint. There are dozens, probably around 100 weapons in the game. The music just makes you feel excited and motivated to continue playing. There is then the singleplayer, which has every level with a different feel to it. The story isn't too special but definitely worth a play through for the reward you get at the end.

1. Super Mario 3D World

This is definitely my second favorite game ever. I beat the entire game in a week. Although, nothing is really super great about it other than the one thing that makes Mario games great. And that factor is creativity. This is the most creative Nintendo game up to date in my book. The idea of having a final world, then having an actual final world with the final boss in it. When you collect that 130 stars in that so called "final world" it feels so satisfying. You beat the level and then you realize something. YOU HAVE TO COLLECT 50 OR SO MORE STARS. Then the actual final world is amazing. It is a theme park based on bowser. It is super colorful and everything. The game has 4 characters, and finally there is a plot in a Mario game where you don't rescue Princess Peach. Instead you rescue these ting fairy things. Enough said, buy this game.

That was my list, #BestofWiiU

Almost made the list: Super Mario/Luigi Bros U, Paper Mario Color Splash, Mario Kart 8, The Legend of Zelda: WindWaker U, and Pokken Tournament.
