Slated for Independence Day weekend, the race in Charlotte is slated to be full of American patriotism with a mix of some international patriotic flare around the world AND some LBGTQ+ pride from some drivers.
But the ADPS executives and Charlotte track officials are hung up on what they want to do for the race. The logical answer? Poll the fans and ask the drivers.
In meetings, Charlotte track officials and ADPS executives have come up with 3 options :
Option 1 : Firecracker 400 - a 167 lap, 250 mile (400K) race that will be treated as an inaugural event
Option 2 : American Salute 300 - a 300 Mile, 200 lap race that will be treated as the 2nd running of the event dispte being longer than last year's race due to the "300" in the race name.
Option 3 : Firecracker 400 - A 400 mile, 267 lap race that is stated to be the ultimate test off ADPS driver and machine. Will be treated as an inaugural event .
Voting will close the day after the Atlanta race
