Well our race weekend at Atlanta was originally going to happen but with the recent suspensions of sports due to coronavirus made nascar follow suit but Bad Day at the Track will happen 1 more time before heading into hibernation which only last until nascar returns from this very bad illness but today's Bad Day at the Track goes back to were 1 good guy showed his evil side by almost taking out his rival's career entirely.
Dale Earnhardt Jr started on the pole then lead the entire field to Green Flag but Dale Jr wouldn't get the opportunity to lead lap 1 as Kyle Busch decided to spoil Dale Jr's party and lead the first 4 laps of the race. Lap 4 Robby Gordon would lose right rear tire heading into turn 1 which sent him spinning and crashing hard into turn 1 back first then back down the racetrack and came to rest in the grass but Robby Gordon's day would end very early because of wreck.
Kyle Busch placed himself as early favorite but Kasey Kahne decided to place himself into the battle which made this race almost hard to pick with more contenders potentially ing the battle during the remaining laps of the race. Lap 35 David Ragan would lose right front tire in middle of turn 3 and hit the wall hard which dropped debris caused 2nd caution of the race but the damage was severe that forced David Ragan to go behind the wall for repairs and returned to finish the remainder of race.
Lap 40 Brad Keselowski attempted to make on Carl Edwards while heading in turn 1 but his attempt would fail as Carl Edwards would go up the racetrack and collected Joey Logano as both cars would hit the wall and caused 3rd caution of the race as Joey continued racing while Carl Edwards went behind the wall for repairs and returned to the race. Kasey Kahne would take control of the race as Kyle Busch's car faded away following the 3rd caution of race but older brother Kurt Busch would emerge as contender for the win while bringing Denny Hamlin with him and Kasey Kahne would fade off during the emergence of both drivers.
Lap 158 Joey Logano would lose right front tire heading into turn 1 then pounded the wall hard in middle of turn 2 which sent Joey Logano behind the wall for repairs with major damage but returned to finish the remainder of race. Denny Hamlin,Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne would duel during 2nd half of race as swapped the lead multiple times but Kurt Busch had the best car among the other contenders for the race win which placed him in 1st place while his fellow contenders would fade back into traffic.
Lap 293 Elliott Sadler would spin the tire in restart zone which sent him race car up the racetrack and made everyone scatter to avoid Sadler but Max Papis wasn't fortunate as Sadler would door slam the 13 car but both continued racing while suffering minor damage. Kurt Busch would take control of the race but Juan Pablo Montoya emerged as very late race contender for the win as Montoya was quickly catching Kurt Busch with 4 laps to go which potentially meant another classic Atlanta finish was about to happen but past beef would ruin that opportunity.
Lap 323 Carl Edwards who was multiple laps down after his incident earlier race would see Brad Keselowski who was running in 6th and responsible for Carl's bad day would get spun out by Carl Edwards on frontstrech the car would go airborne and pounded the wall on drivers roof Keselowski was ok from that scary crash but his race was over and Carl Edwards would get parked for remainder of race for his actions then sent to Nascar hauler after driving to garage the wrong direction which made nascar very unhappy with him. Kurt Busch would lead the field 1st GWC but the attempt would fail as Jamie McMurray would get loose in turn 3 and put Clint Bowyer and Kyle Busch while sending McMurray spinning which made Martin Truex Jr and Mark Martin to hit the brakes but Kevin Harvick didn't notice an pushed Mark Martin into Martin Truex Jr sending both spinning and crashing in turn 4 then Denny Hamlin and David Gilliland would suffer minor damage after hitting cars that were spinning and wrecking in turn 4.
Continued Racing - Denny Hamlin,Kyle Busch,Martin Truex Jr,Clint Bowyer,Jamie McMurray and David Gilliland
Days That Ended - Mark Martin
The chaos would reach conclusion as Kurt Busch would take control of the race and lead the field to 2nd attempt of GWC and immediately pulled away from competition as Montoya would spin the tires in restart zone which held up Kasey Kahne. Matt Kenseth would move into 2nd place following Juan Pablo Montoya's late race mistake but couldn't run down Kurt Busch who was basically in cruise control and Kurt Busch would come down to frontstrech and take Checkered Flag to win chaotic race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Bad day for the drivers, entertaining for people that want to see wreaks. Gotta be honest though, the cars were bad aero wise and the flying wreaks were pretty scary
