What is your name?

My online name is Bearnas, but just 'Bear' is fine too.

How old are you?

I am above 18 years old.

Do you have any experience with curating?

Nope, none at all.

What ideas do you have for the challenges/contests and to help the community?

I would probably like to implement prompt based challenges on a regular basis to unleash our ' creative potential.

As for contests I'm not entirely sure. I always feel pretty bad favoring one work over another in a competitive setting, so I would be garbage at judging in contests.

I could probably help provide prizes for them though, like drawings or maybe some writing (although I'm not exactly confident in my abilities as a writer yet).

How strict would you be with the rules?

General Amino Guidelines: pretty strict. They are the base foundation, and they must be adhered to. I will not make any exceptions for friends or favors.

Nanbaka Rules: strict but gentle? I understand that it's easy to forget custom rules, especially when you're in many different Aminos, each with their own set of custom Guidelines. If I notice an infraction, I would calmly adress it to the violator, sort of like a warning or a 'friendly reminder', if you will.

(I do have a very low tolerance for improperly credited (or worse yet, UNcredited) artworks.)

Would you interact with the of this community?

Yes. I may be a little bit shy, but I understand that interaction with is key. I am a very friendly person and will welcome anyone that needs my help with open arms.

Currently most of my interaction with fellow is in the comment sections (usually on my own posts) and in a few non-rp chats.

What would you feature?

Anything that shows true effort and ion, and that falls within the featureworthy standards already established by the staff.

How would you handle someone asking for help?

I would try my very best to settle any disputes if asked to, and to help new people find their way around the Amino. How I would help would differ from situation to situation, but I will always act with objectivity. This means that for example in disputes I will not pick sides based on who I like or dislike. Proof and fact will convince me of your right or innocence, not sentiment. That may sound cold and harsh, but it is just and fair.

As for help with Amino itself: I am fairly capable of explaining Amino's functions and describing how to navigate to those functions in a clear and concise manner. If necessary, I would clarify with screenshots.

(To the staff: if any of you have a specific situation in mind that you would like to know my reaction to, please don't hesitate to DM me about it!)

How active are you?

I open the Amino a minimum of twice everyday to browse through the latest feed, and catch up on all I have missed in the chats I am currently in. Additionally, I occasionally post drawing requests. Although, since those take quite a while to complete, I am not ing as frequently as I would like to.

Why do you want to be a curator?

I want to be a curator mostly because I want to gain the exprience that comes with being one. I have stated earlier that I have no experience in the field, and I feel like such a cozy, and friendly community such as this one would be the best place to get a first taste of moderation work.

A second reason for me to want to apply is that I like helping people a lot. I love seeing people enjoy this place, and I would very much like to be an active part in that.

This concludes my #CuratorRecruitment. Thank you very much for reading all this way!
