1. Sazae oni
These slug girls are kind of like Greek mythology's sirens, but on crack. Once a turban snail turns 30, they're expected to turn into a Sazae oni. They trick men into thinking they're drowning women before seducing and eating them. In one story, a Sazae Oni is "saved" by pirates before having sex with them. She eats their testicals afterwards and jumps back into the sea. She says she'll give them back in exchange for gold. Real classy.
2. Shirime
This one is my favorite. Shirimes are harmless tricksters, but still from some kind of fever dream. They approach humans pretending to be other humans, strip down and spread their ass cheeks to show an eyeball where their anus should be to freak out the victim. That's all. That's literally all they do.
3. Wa nyūdō
A Wa Nyudo is supposed to be a terrifying servant of hell, but it really isn't terrifying. At all. It's some dude's wheel head the rolls around on fire. If you see it, it'll do something terrible like eat your child's legs off. Spooky.
4. Futsukeshibaba
Another over sensationalized yokai that's apparently terrifying and spooky and horrible! And you know what she does? Blows out lanterns. Nothing else.
5. Ashiaraiyashiki
It's a giant foot. We don't know if it's attached to something, but it's a giant foot. It'll stomp through your ceiling, demand that you clean it and then leave after you're done. If you don't, it'll throw a temper tantrum.
6. Kyuso
You know how cats hunt mice? The tables have turned.
7. Nuppeppo
These are sentient balls of flesh that pretty much just do their own thing and smell. That's pretty much all to say about them.
8. Nuraihyon
They're just really bad house guests that break in and trash your stuff. They're usually eat your food, drink your tea, and just be terrible friends.
9. Oshiroi Baba
She's kind of like those ladies in malls that spray you with perfume without asking. She'll as you to try her face powder, and if you do, your face is coming right off.
10. Futakuchi-onna
You've all probably heard of this one. This is a curse placed on women that gives them a mouth on the back of their head. Usually this is because the woman eats too little, but it's been known to have other causes. The mouth will demand food from the woman and screech and yell when they don't get it, giving her a headache. Eventually they will use her hair as tentacles to shove food into their mouths.

If you'd watch Jigoku Shoujo(Hell Girl ), you'd see Wa Nyudo in it. Pretty cool actually.
