The dark horse swam through the water, looking for her father. They soon found them, the father was the leader of Kelpies and was fierce with his actions and behavior. Yet with his foal he was the opposite, not letting her see the real way that Kelpies acted. Little did the father know, that the small little Kelpie was more powerful than even him.
—A few years later—
I looked around, making sure no humans were around. Once I was sure that it was safe I bolted out of he water, turning into a beautiful, tall, well muscled mare. My long and wavy mane rested on my side. I trotted over to the nearby town, looking as if I was lost. Someone soon got on me, and put a set of tack on me, scaring me. I tried to bolt but something held me back, then a cold thing was shoved in my mouth. I reared up, striking at the person in front of me. When I landed on my feet they started to whip me, making my mind whirl. I found myself breaking out of the ties holding me in once someone was riding me. I dived into the water, drowning the person quickly...
—Years later—
I let myself go, power surging through me as I fought it. I battled the other horses, the power pushing me on. We fought for hours, days, weeks... until it was over. I walked from the dark water, it was darker now that there was blood mixed into it. I help my head high as I walked away, knowing that I had won. Then an angelic horse crashed into me, and everything when my black. But not before I had seen the horse flicker into a dark color with crimson markings.
