Born in Singapore, Squid is a girl of average intelligence and an avid fan of cooking. Since the accident, she has been presumed dead by her family. Due to a lack of fingerprints, toe prints, teeth, eyes, voice or any ordinary blood, she has been unable to prove her identity to anyone she meets. Currently, she is travelling the world and learning to cook and camp with her companion, Thomas the Sentient Octopus.

Squid is a lax and well mannered girl with an optimistic outlook on life. She is adventurous and willing to try new things but somewhat due to a lack of impulse control(something she is dependent on Thomas for), she can sometimes overlook risks and get herself in trouble. Similarly, she is very ionate about life and pretty much everything she attempts, grateful for her second chance in life she wants to make the best out of every oppurtunity. However, although she is respectful and has some common sense, she lacks awareness of her surroundings and her greatest danger is herself.

Other flaws of hers include her stubborn streak which tends to lead to her ignoring Thomas entirely. She can also be too laxed and is easily stressed by many things as a result of her procastination. However, she is usually well meaning despite occasionally overlooking other's opinions. She is also rather superstitious although she is capable of overcoming it for the sake of very close friends.

Due to Thomas biting off her head, Squid lacks a head entirely and frequently wears either prosthetic faces or heads entirely. Usually, she will wear a wig but occasionally, she purchases prosthetic heads which already have hair implants. The heads are hollow, allowing Thomas sufficient space to rest and move a bit. She is unable to cry due to a lack of tear ducts in most models and eating is usually incredibly difficult on her own, hence, she has had her main head prosthetic adjusted to allow her to taste and swallow small and meticulously chewed food through tubes which have been made to replicate the asophagus. Implanting that head takes especially long due to this but for the sake of food, Squid doesnt mind. As for breathing, her skin has been grafted with new cells that allow her to absorb oxygen which is carried to the rest of her body like Thomas.

As for her brain, a box implanted into her back allows her to place her brain there and connect it to the nervous system. It has recently been updated to allow her access to a voice box in her throat.

While her neck wound has been cleaned up, to prevent her body from rotting again but also to reduce blood loss, she has a blue electricity conductive liquid in her veins instead of blood. Based on signals from her brain it doesnt bleed from her neck wound where she would connect her prosthetic heads. Blood palettes can survive there and bring oxygen and glucose to her muscles.

Her limbs are all prosthetics, her legs being made of Agate and her arms simply out of metal. They are usually polished every other day by Thomas since she can't do it herself. They are also dusted with skin tone powder (now a deathly whitish) after being polished. Sometimes, her legs are a bit stiff but ever since gold has been added to the air spaces in between, they have been running smoother. Her arms were lost when two great whites which had been brought over to be in the same experimental area as Thomas were lead by him and bit off her arm. Her legs ended up rotting due to a lack of blood flow and couldn't be brought back although her vitals and body were. Hence, they were amputated.

An average student, Squid mostly spent her childhood watching her parents cook, and having heard of how they met (through a common interest in food and cooking) and how they still had dreams of becoming chefs, it lit a fire in a her and led to her ion in cooking. She went to an average secondary school and had a few close friends through the years.

However, during her 4th year, for a present for her 16th birthday, her parents managed to negotiate with a family friend and allowed her to visit the experimental area opened by Xenon Labs for their aquarium. Unfortunately, when she went diving with the divers to observe the marine life, a sentient octopus they had been experimenting some psuedo science(in actuality, magic) with escaped and attacked her. After it latched onto her and started to bite her head, she struggled and the blood attracted the Great Whites. While her parents watched in horror, the staff immediately got out of the tank and tried to rescue her. However after the Great Whites chomped off her arm, the bloodied water prevented them from seeing her. Her parents were forcefully ushered out while the staff valiantly attempted to retrieve her. However, they were only able to find her once her body had floated up to the surface, leading to the employees informing her parents of her ing.

Unbeknownst to anyone, the family friend, Dr Rikiel managed to retrieve her body and to his surprise, Thomas' magical blood which she scratched off had managed to preserve her brain. While her body was beginning to rot, Dr Rikiel learnt from the now speaking octopus that it had been magic that kept her alive and with Thomas' cooperation, managed to revive her. However, she had lost her limbs, blood and head, essentially all her identification methods. Initially given the choice to return to her family, Squid rejected it out of not wanting to burden them.

Initially bearing a grudge against Thomas, after understanding his intention in attacking her, she decided to forgive him. In fact, the two became quite close over their love of learning and in a month or so, both left the lab, bidding farewell to Dr Rikiel.

Now alone in the world without an identity, the two were originally lost but eventually found purpose in discovering new things and cooking. Now, they travel the world and seek meaning in their life while Squid tries to treasure her new found life the best she can.

Squid's limbs are very durable and can withstand being cut quite a bit. While her remaining organic body is as fragile as a normal human, she is capable of running faster and her new programmed and magic enhanced senses allow her to smell and feel better than the average human as well. While she possesses no magic herself, she is capable of using it with the help of a vessel like Thomas.
