With many changes in staff over the months and the need to update on new info for important posts, we decided to make the Feature Rules post a priority in remaking seeing as it is what allows art and writing to be more noticed in our community.

To keep it short and simple:
With the small problem of rules being broken lately when it comes to suggestions on features, we would like to remind everyone what we look for when featuring art and/or writing.
This post is not only to explain our new rules on featuring posts, but this is also a place to suggest posts you see as worthy of a feature.

As staff, we have agreed on these /rules for each category when it comes to featuring work:

➳ There must be a title for your work and a short description (Blog format).
The short description must be at least a sentence long - although it does not have to be about the piece.
➳ It must be the finished piece (no WIPs).
➳ We suggest putting the final product first in your blog so it shows up on the front page nicely, although it is not required.
For Digital proof:
➳ Please provide at least one image of layered proof/progress shots - if your layers were merged or you cannot provide proof, your art will not be allowed to be featured.
➳ Signature/watermark is highly suggested as well but not required.
For Traditional proof:
➳ Please show 1 or more progress shots in your work - if you are unable to do so we suggest placing your finger on the completed piece or placing your signature on it.

➳ Must be at least two paragraphs long.
➳ Must be mostly grammatically correct, clear to read and understand, and of course relating to fantasy.

➳ Must be your own work.
➳ Must follow all [guidelines].
➳ Must show clear effort - meaning not just something you created in 15 seconds.

Now that you know the rules, you are probably wondering either how to get noticed by staff easily OR for other apart from yourself that YOU think should be featured.

Using any of these hashtags in your post will allow you a better chance of being noticed by staff!
Want to suggest someone else’s work?
Add a link to the persons post below with a short explanation on why you think it SHOULD be featured!

P.S. Even if all of the requirements are followed, your post is never guaranteed a feature. These all higher your chances though!
