The large metal doors slammed shut, indicating that the show had came to an end.Cameras deactivated, lights off, it was over….or was it?
The luscious red curtains withdrew, revealing he wooden playground, a soft jazzy tune, echoed eerily throughout the vast and nebulous room, suddenly a stage light flickered to life , it shown like a beacon.
Various costumes gradually made their way onto the stage.
One of the various costumes was a old western farmers outfit, it graced the stage with its presence, a drawl was draped over its shoulder, her dress skimmed the chipped wooden stage.
Another one of the various was a detective’s trench coat, it crept cautiously onto the stage as if having the intention of creeping upon an unexpecting felon, the way it ought to be.
A lonely, forgotten clock sat striking midnight, the disembodied costumes expertly drifted to their posts awaiting, the clock gave one finally tick before the show ended.
The uninhabited costumes made their way back to their individual hangers, where they lay lifeless and awaiting for the show to begin once more.
