Woop! I'm finally entering a contest for real! As I anxiously breathe over here, let's not delay the grand reveal anymore and here, is the glorious (and cute)

The guardian of the woods, this enigma of a creature is kind hearted and not at all cold blooded. With an oily body that gives life and keeps the forest alive, it wanders the forests to find rubbish to transform into energy. In turn, said energy is used to fuel the lanterns on its tail and in its heart.

Surprisingly enough, it is also toylike and magical as the woods it guards are strangely filled with illusions and strangely sweet scents. Some say that if you are sad and lost in its woods, you may just hear the soft clacking of a clockwork toy's keys moving. Perhaps the guardian is coming to rescue you.

Now time to ramble! It's pretty hard to see but the little blackish blob and its red cloak and green tail are the Lantern Holder. I designed it pretty early on but I actually was contemplating between this and Scrawk, a deer dragon stuffed toy. I think that Scrawk would probably be cuter and I would have a higher chance them, but I like the Lantern Holder's design a lot! Sooo, I chose it over Scrawk.

Anyways, I liked its lore better and it's pretty cool. Maybe not OC/RP OC material, cuz it doesn't talk, but I'll probably still keep them! Anyways, this photo is a little crowded and its time for critique!

(EXTRA)ART CRITIQUE:

Obviously this art piece is terribly crowded. It's pretty hard to see what's there but I tried really hard to balance the colours and that was hard....Still, I attempted to add more "background" and effects. Overall, this piece is a 6/10.

Anyways....
