Diet

They tend to pray on smaller plant based animals (fairies,walking plants, ect.) but will also eat small herbivores such as rabbits, fairies are their favorite food, as they hate humanoid creatures and love to hear them suffer as they eat them...

Behavior

They are rather friendly towards those in their fall(a fall is like a pack except it is not made entirely of family, it can include friends,mates and pretty much any member of their species that is close to them, this group also tends to be extemly large), otherwise they can be territorial and possessive of objects, food, young, ect. They dislike humans/humanoid creatures. They like flowers and are drawn to places with large amounts of flowers this is because plant based creatures tend to hide their and the bright colors and nice smells make them comfortable! Flowers and plants also tend to provide a place for them to rest after long flights, they rely heavily on their wing to get around as they are small and hunt in large groups!

Preferred temperature and weather

They prefer warm temperatures and sunshine/light rain, this is because these settings tend to encourage plant growth and will keep from ruining their wings, which they need in order to get around easier, as the biggest tend to be the size of a persons whole pinky finger but the average size is around the size of the tip of your pinky finger!

Young and elderly

Young

A female will lay their eggs on large plants that can provide plenty of food and water, after this they will fly somewhere to rest and will often die from the exhaustion from giving birth and then a long flight to a resting place(as they are picky about the place they rest). The eggs will hatch into small legless pups with no wings and an endless hunger, they also have antenna to help them sense the edge of the plant and water, so they don't drown or fall off but after a week or two the pups will rap themselves up in an odd silk and emerge with legs and wings they keep their antenna to help them communicate with each other!

Elderly

Elderly are highly respected as most comet wolves don't survive past young adulthood due to reproduction but on occasion this happens and in this case the elderly wolf is provided a life of luxury, they are highly respected and are provided large amounts of food, the only task they preform is checking on the young and getting rid of any that have diseases/problems in general, this is called cliffing, it earned its name because the elder will push them off the plant and watch them fall and hit the ground, the shock from them hitting the ground will kill them. The elders who do this tend to be cautious about it as any surviving mothers tend to get over protective but most will fail to protect their young.
