(I'm so excited for this! And sorry if I explained this terribly, I wrote it late at night.)

As you all may know, today is the first anniversary of this Amino! I can't believe it's been a whole year, that's 365 days! Thank you all so much for sticking around, even if you've only been here for a short amount of time!

Anyway, let's get on to the contest, shall we?

For this contest, things will be slightly different. There are three main categories to this:

- Art -

- Writing -

- Both -

Let me explain in more detail. In this contest, you will have to either create art of your OC or character celebrating with another member, write a story about a celebration at the anniversary party, or do both in one post. If you do both in one post, you are elegible for all three prizes. If you do art or writing, you are only eligible for one prize (art prize or writing prize).

I know not all people are artists, and not all people are writers, so I decided to give you the option to choose exactly what you'd like to do:

- Art Only -

This one is easy to explain! Just create art of your OC or character with other ' OCs or characters celebrating the anniversary! For example, you could draw your OC eating a huge cake with your friend's OC.

You will be eligible for only the art prize if you do just this section. You will be judged on effort, creativity, and a bit of skill.

Rules:

- Follow the guidelines.

- No tracing, copying, or stealing someone else's art. References are allowed of course though!

- Include a signature or a progress/proof shot of your art.

- Writing Only-

Write a story about your OC in the following setting:

"In a grand palace, a large party is being held for the anniversary of Mythical Creatures and Beasts Amino. With just over 6,000 attendees, the palace is quite crowded and chaotic. The celebration starts at approximately 5:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 a.m."

I'll let your imagination fill in the rest, be creative! Here are a few ideas to get your creativity flowing: Who did you meet or talk to at the party? Was there any conflict at the party? What activities did you participate in?

You can even work with other to link your stories together if you'd like!

You will be eligible for only the writing prize if you do just this section. You will be judged on grammar/spelling, effort, and how intriguing or interesting your story is.

Rules:

- Follow the guidelines.

- No plagiarism.

- At least a paragraph long (paragraphs are typically anywhere from 4-5 sentences according to English class).

- :warning: Include the hashtag #WritingAnniversary. :warning:

- Combined Entry -

All you have to do is create both a piece of art and a story (see above for info on those :arrow_up: ) and somehow link them together! For example, you could have your OC throw confetti in the story and then make a piece of art for it. Your art does not have to include someone else in the combined entry, as long as it relates to the story.

You will be eligible for the art prize, the writing prize, and the combined entry prize if you do this section.

Rules:

- Follow the guidelines.

- No tracing, copying, or stealing someone else's art. References are allowed of course though!

- Include a signature or a progress/proof shot of your art.

- No plagiarism.

- At least a paragraph long (paragraphs are typically anywhere from 4-5 sentences according to English class).

- :warning: Include the hashtags #DoubleAnniversary (it's a lot I know, sorry! It just makes it easier to keep track of). :warning:

- Prizes -

Combined Entry Prize:

- Custom title

- Custom clay sleepy wyvern by Jinjin, shipping is free if you'd like it sent to you!

- Digital or traditional full body by GoldenWing!

- A detailed watercolor drawing with a background and a maximum of two characters of your choice by Spooder!

- A detailed full body by Vinny!

- Full body with shading by Auroris!

Art prize:

- Custom title

- Watercolor headshot by Amara!

- Shaded headshot by Auroris!

- Fullybody by TheGreatJune

Writing prize:

- Custom title

- A drawing in ONE of the following mediums (digital, traditional, 3D model, or pixel art) by Pinsel!

- A short story and traditional drawing by Spooder!

- A headshot by Significant Oyster!

- Shaded headshot by Auroris!
