The bots we've seen in the past are back at it again- as a reminder and precaution, NEVER click suspicious links. Here is an example of what the messages look like:

What should I do?

:black_small_square: Do not panic!

:black_small_square: Tap on the 's icon so you'll end up on their profile.

:black_small_square: Tap on the ••• icon situated at the top right of their profile and choose "Flag for review".

:black_small_square: Choose "Spam" when presented with a list of options.

:black_small_square: After reporting, block the immediately.

:exclamation: To protect yourself, it may be best to turn off inbound chat requests to people who you don't follow on your until the wave of bots wears off. :exclamation:

• You can set inbound chat requests to only be from people you follow, or turn them off completely by visiting the 'Settings' page from the left menu.

Us mods are trying our best to ban them when we spot them, however some still manage to send out pms before we notice them. Thank you to all who have been helping let us know about the bots when you spot them - it helps us ban them quicker!
