It is me again. In this blog will be informative type of blog. First, this blog will explain me being absence for a week starting today(more detail in the blog). Second, this blog will explain what happen with the oc helper applications. And finally, this blog will explain a big change to my and the roleplay partner finders. A lot of things will be explain in this blog, and if I get backlash or something then I will take it kindly and reasonably. Without further delay lets begin the blog.

Section 1:A Break from Curatorship

This section is correct. I will be taking a break from curatorship. This break will between April 22nd(today) from either April the 30 or May 1st. I am still quite unsure in how I will be on break, but the break is going being for curatorship. What does that mean. I will not being responding to any curator duties or doing any curator duties. This break to me is very important due to me feeling a certain way when curatoring or going on amino. When I go online, I don’t feel like going on or I don’t feel the joy in going into the community, that I had a couple months ago. So I feel like with this week, I can get a lot of stuff done and maybe even find my joy back to the community and this job. Another reason why I will be taking a break is so I get more things done and fix a bit of problems that I have on my . You will see me online, but I will be online finding joy in going back on this app and just updating A LOT of things. So overall this is a mental break and physical break. I also have to state that So the next thing I will be discussing is about the Oc Helpers Application.

Section 2:OC Helpers Application

So it has been since, mid-February and nothing has been said about the Oc Helpers or the new ones. We were going to start looking at applications in beginning of March. So what I did at first was send the applications to some of the oc helpers so they have a voice in picking out Oc helpers as well. During my spring break, I was looking at the applications and so a number total, but some of the oc helpers notice a glitch and stated google was glitching on them and that the forms or links was not working. I thought the problem was just going to fix itself and that eventually it will start back working normally. So I waited, I saw some applications, but I wanted to look at all of the remaining applications before making my selection. We got pushed behind due to the glitch and what was worst, the that would work were on hiatus, gone, or even sometimes banned. It was like their completely disappear. I was stressed from life and was starting to get stress from the community. I knew I had to think of a solution to this problem because Oc helpers are needed. So yeah. I understand that this isn’t what people want to hear or people might get angry, but I will apologize for not telling anyone sooner. So during my break week I will doing something about this which I will mention now.

New Oc Helper Applications coming up

First task is that I will be either finding a new form that we can use or another idea so that I can check and make sure the links work with the person. The way how this new strategy will be I will be using a hashtag in the mix. This hashtag will be so that when people submit their application, I can just go to their Oc that they want to be reviewed. This will give new people a chance for me to look at their oc. And this will tell me that this is the Oc that you want me to reviewed, so you can pick your best Oc, not me looking through all of your ocs. This hashtag will help a lot for everyone so that the glitch will not interfere with Oc helpers applications. So I say that the blog should be submitted in May so everyone will have time and I will have time to see if I can find another form place.

Section 3: Roleplay Partner Finders

The roleplay Partner Finders are still full and get filled up so quickly. The system needs work for roleplaying finding and so does the wiki that hasn’t been updated at all. So that’s exactly what is going to happen so first. There will be a massive purge in the roleplay partner finding, which I will be explaining on how the purge will go and what people need to look for.

Purging the Inactives and Watch Out Lurkers

Everyone can be subject to purge. There is no level 5 bellow rule anymore. During the purge, we will be looking at bios, post, and level. Meaning if you have nothing on your bio then you are subject to purge. If you have nothing posted like wikis or blogs, then you are subjected to purge. How long you been on this amino matters, it will determine why we think this individual doesn’t have anything(say if they are new), or if the individual is really active on this community. This purge will help introduce new people to the chatroom and if you do get purge, you will not be purge permanently. You can always come back if you are kicked. So that is all for the purge aspect of the chatroom.

New Wiki, Who Dis? And New Chatroom

During my week, I will be making a brand new updated roleplay wiki. Its outdated and needs some work. There might be a lot of changes but this is still unknown until I work on the wiki. The next thing is a new chatroom. This chatroom WILL be a talking interactive chatroom for all roleplayers and people on the community. There will be rules and regulations of course, but this chatroom is more as a chill out or general friend making chatroom. Some people complain that they wish they had freedom in the chatroom to talk more, so this chatroom would be for this.

Section 4:New Bio, New things will be posted

I need to update my bio. I need to make more wikis for my ocs or projects I have been thinking about. I need to make a new look, so I can have a fresh start. I want to get back in updating and commissioning people the correct way (I think I have been emotionally buying commissions). So if you see me online, its because I am updating or just trying to have fun in this community

Conclusion and Wrap-up

So, the conclusion is that I will be taking a break from curatoring. I really hope everyone understands. The only reason why the break will last longer if something is up with a family situation I am going through. I really love this community; I just want to get the joy back in curatoring and being on here. Also Happy Easter(even if you don’t celebrate it).
