“Up you go!” The upbeat sound of Itsuka Kendos voice broke the silence of the forest as she used her quirk to enlarge her hands and lift yaoyorozu up above her hand, Yaoyorozu sat on her knees as she was brought up to about two meters high and reached her hand out to pick some fresh apples of the tree.

“Thank you Itsuka. I can reach the best ones this way.” She said as she plucked the ones that she found most suitable and left the ones to the ecosystem that she wouldn’t need, The apples grew to full maturity around this time of year and making an apple pie was tradition.

But the friends weren’t at ua as they’d usually be, Yaoyorozu had noticed her friends were quite beaten up both mentally and physically. School was hard on both the mind and their body and they needed rest away from it all so Yaoyorozu had requested her parents to let them stay at the house in the mountains. They weren’t very far up but the air was extremely clean and there were some natural hot springs in the area.

So Kendo, tetsutetsu and awase from class 1B had ed her and she had invited Kaminari jirou and todoroki over. The cabin was very large but not as luxurious as hee house at home but to any normal person it would still be quite a fancy estate.

So now with nature surrounding them they’d have time to let their worries down. Even if it was for a week or two. Catching up to sleep and giving their minds a rest and seeing her friends mellow out, it truly warmed Yaoyorozus heart.

“I got enough, Itsuka!” Kendo shrunk her hands and caught Yaoyorozu in her arms before slowly and gently putting her down on the ground as she said “Did you get enough for the apple pie?” Momo nodded as she showed it off to kendo, the little bag she took along was filled to the top.

“I heard the apples and other food produce grow really well here naturally because of the clean air.” Kendo said as she warmed her hands, hooking her arm in Yaoyorozu’s arm as they headed back,

Momo agreed with kendo chuckling slightly as she said “It’s a great place to spiritually recover I've heard but it remains beautiful nonetheless”

As they walked the sun had already begun to set and the forest coloured in beautiful shades of orange and yellow matching the colours of the damp leaves that fell from the trees and made a soft crisp as they stood on them, and they could see the light of the cabin from a distance. A rather large

They opened the door and were greeted by a warm wooden house with two floors and a chimney. Enough rooms for the bunch staying there. Kendo and Yaoyorozu walked the rest of the way there in silence, kendos arm still hooked in Yaoyorozus as they took a moment to appreciate it all.

Yaoyorozu opened the door of the cabin and they were engulfed by the warmth of the house as they stepped inside, Awase quickly walked up to them to close the door behind their back as he helped yaoyorozu take her coat off.

The room was very large yet cozy, they had a couple of bookcases, a fireplace with a fire started presumably by todoroki. Next to the fireplace on the couch was Jirou, she had greeted the two with a smile as she was casually strumming her guitar, Kaminari leaned against her half asleep as he listened to the tunes of the guitar and the sound of the fireplace. Todoroki had made himself comfortable in the corner with an armchair and a book. Yaoyurozu presumed he didn’t need to stay near the fireplace to keep warm and he was already wearing a black turtleneck.

Todoroki smiled when the two returned as he said “My sister gave me a recipe for apple pie, I’d like to help.”

Tetsutetsu was in the kitchen, already preparing the dough with awase. Kendo walked up to tetsutetsu and gave him a small peck on the cheek that first made him blush and proceeded to distract himself by punching the dough, making the two girls chuckle behind their hands.

Awase walked back in the kitchen to assure tetsutetsu wouldn’t break anything as he smiled inviting Todoroki to help them “You can help me slice the apples.” Awase threw an apple at todoroki whom caught it as he stood up from his chair to help the three.

Sunset quickly turned into night as the group had dinner, Rice with salmon caught by kaminari todoroki and tetsutetsu earlier this morning when Kaminari and tetsu were determined to teach todoroki how to fish and it delivered, the seven of them enjoying the meal together and finishing it off with a slice of apple pie.

It didn’t take long for them to once again get cozy by the fireplace with a cup of tea, kendo leaned against tetsutetsu, as they just listened to jirou strumming the guitar and explaining kaminari more and more techniques. Yaoyorozu found herself discussing her plans for the following two weeks with awase and Todoroki, none of them saying a word about hero business, as none of them really wanted to talk about and for now just wanted to relax a bit and take in all this trip had to offer.

And when the night fell it didn’t take long for everyone to find rest in their bed, still warm from the fireplace as the light slowly faded out. But one mind could not find rest, instead he sat down on the balcony, his knees up to his chest as his grey and turquoise eyes watched the starry night. Todoroki released a sigh and..softly smiled, distracted by the stars he’d never see in Tokyo due to the clouds but now.. with a night so quiet he could feel his own heart beat, he drowned in the stars. And he couldn’t care to breathe.

He didn’t even look away when Yaoyorozu placed a soft blanket around him and sat down next to him, he didn’t even have to think as he just threw the blanket around her as well ans motioned her to sit closer, eventually resting her head on his shoulder, her raven black hair was not in a ponytail. She wore a cute pink panda pajama with black tros that had pink dots on them.

Todoroki barely batted an eye, just blushing slightly. Cute.

And so the two of them barely exchanged any words..well Yaoyorozu softly pointed the constellations out, telling him about historical significance as he listened to her, his eyes following her words and stories as he slowly started to rest his head on hers as well until eventually falling asleep, getting carried back in his room by yaoyorozu as he smiled with a soft smile.

And Yaoyorozu couldn’t help but smile in adoration, giving him a peck on the forehead, wishing him a good night as she went back to her own room.

“Don’t forget your bathing suits!” Kendo said out loud as everyone was preparing themselves. Putting on their coats and shoes, scarfs and all, yaoyorozu wore thick black leggings and a brownish red skirt, topped with an orange brown coat and fuzzy black boots, and a cream scarf.

Itsuka on the contrary wore normal jeans and a turquoise coat. Walking shoes and a soft scarf, large enough to share with someone.

Jirou had a dark blue coat and black jeans, she wore a black beanie and black scarf with a music note at the end sewn in by herself.

As all of them got dressed up to face the colder climate yaoyorozu made sure everyone was well dressed and had everything with them eventually they set out, tetsutetsu held kendos hand and kaminari was talking with awase, complimenting his headband, with a jirou that shook her head, todoroki and yaoyorozu walked in front of the group, holding the map.

“The hot springs should be about 30 minutes away, and be careful if you go out and you’re still soaked you’re gonna get sick!” Todoroki gave the group a rare smile as he said “I can use my fire to help us stay warm, so don't worry.” And the group left on their hike that’d be rewarded with a soak in the hot springs.

Todoroki held one side of the map with his left hand and carefully searched for Yaoyorozus hand with his right hand, he carefully held hers as he averted his gaze “thank you..for yesterday evening.”

Momo smiled and responded “I’ve never seen you this happy, and that's my biggest reward.” Giving his hand a small squeeze

“I see the hot springs! Awase said as he saw steam in the distance, the entire group couldn’t contain their excitement as they started to run, even jirou with a small blush followed them, finding a small water surface filled crystal blue water.

Everyone immediately got in as soon as they could, luckily wearing their bathing suits beneath their clothes already and Yaoyorozu of course gave a small information dump.

“The hot springs are said to be very well for your wounds and muscle aches as well as relaxation and t pain! So take it all in!”

And with that their perfect fall break concluded..
