During the sensitive minutes of her ing and walking through the void, Ryoben, her father, stepped up and gave his beating heart to replace his daughter's, although him ing instead, saved Shu's life as his anglerfish fusion allowed his heart to fuse with her body, as if the heart was hers to begin with. Shu gets up and fights with her father beside her for the first time in their lives. The first good thing he did for his daughter. And Shu learning to accept that things may never change but in the end, a good warrior sacrifices their life for someone else.
