The world was perfectly normal.

Shigaraki had been defeated 18 years ago (meaning 10 years after the finale timeskip), ushering in a new era of peace.

Then, a sinister new drug known as "Overdrive" begun to spread through the underbelly of society. Promising unparalleled power to its s, "Overdrive" twists their quirks into grotesque and uncontrollable forms. Once ordinary individuals become monstrous hybrids of power and flesh, mindless engines of destruction driven by the very abilities they once commanded. These "Chimeras," as the government calls them, leave a trail of carnage in their wake, leveling cities and terrorizing civilians.

The Japanese government scrambled, losing heroes left and right. Because of this, they called upon students to help out.

The students, now unwilling soldiers in this brutal war, grapple with the weight of impossible decisions. And when the drug’s creators reveal their true ambitions—to unleash an army of perfected Chimeras capable of wiping out the current generation of heroes—faith in the hero system itself begins to crack.

Amid the blood and smoke, one question looms above all: How far will they go to stop the chaos before it consumes them—and the world?
