Hello everyone, it’s Glory, and I hope you are having a wonderful day!
In this post I will be discussing my favorite songs and artists this month. They will not necessarily be from October 2019; they are just songs and artists I listened to the most during this month.
After the favorites I’ll tell you about the flops. These will be the songs that came out this month but weren’t really my cup of tea.

~ Songs ~
Jopping
SuperM
The title is cheesy, but the song is a bop. Baekhyun really snapped. I’ve been listening to it all month. What else did we expect from this lineup?
SET ME FREE
Ladies’ Code
Though I like their single from earlier this year better, this song still brings their 2nd-gen flair to modern K-Pop in a catchy, fun way.
BIRD
EXO
This lovely Japanese release from the active six was the perfect thing to fill EXO-Ls’ void until their November comeback.
Bomb
AleXa
I watching Alex Christine’s intro video for Produce 48 last year and relating to her a lot, so I was really excited when I learned that she would be debuting, and she didn’t disappoint. I think the concept fits her well, and the song displays all of her abilities.
Why
ONF
This group needs more recognition. They have a unique sound that is displayed beautifully in this song. Their vocals are amazing as always, and I think the rap verse was integrated well. I’d recommend this to anyone, but especially for those who like electronic pop.
Spark
Taeyeon
This is a very recent song, but I have listened to it a ton. The queen came back with a bang. Her vocals are gorgeous as always. The song feels like it is feeding my soul whenever I listen to it.
Honorable Mentions
*aka songs that just came out but I love*
Savage - A.C.E (they snapped as usual)
Abandoned - Brown Eyed Girls (the haunting beauty that I live for)

Dear my dear
Chen
A perfect release to start off the month, and winter, with. Yes, winter, in my state it’s already snowed. Anyway, this is an amazing follow up to his first album. His voice is perfect for ballads.
Time_Slip
Super Junior
Suju’s long-awaited full group comeback did not disappoint. To me, it incorporates all the different styles they’ve tried in the past 13 years (pop rock, electronic, Latin, etc.) into one album, so there’s something for everyone. My personal favorites are The Crown, I Think I, and Skydive, but the title track (Super Clap) is good too.
The Book of Us: Entropy
Day6
MY ULTS ARE BACK AND WITH A FULL ALBUM
This 11-song masterpiece is pretty experimental for them and I love it. It starts off with some pretty intense songs, like the title track Sweet Chaos, but it mellows out in the last four songs, which are my favorites.

Wonderland
Ateez
This comeback was just...disappointing. The song felt messy, and the chorus was a huge letdown. It’s by no means terrible, but it’s pretty bad considering Ateez’s track record. I feel the same way about Wonderland as I do about Stray Kids’ Miroh, where I like the rap verses but the chorus ruins the whole song.
