Glory’s Guide to NCT Part 1: The Basics

Welcome to my new blog series, Glory’s Guide to NCT! I know from experience that NCT is hard to understand, so I’m going to do my best to help all the new fans learn about this group.

What is NCT?

NCT is a K-Pop group under SM Entertainment. It stands for Neo Culture Technology. NCT debuted in 2016. Their fandom name is NCTzen, meaning the fans are citizens of NCT, and their official color is lime green.

The whole concept of NCT is that it is a group with infinite . The are split into different units, some in more than one. This can be confusing and scare people away from NCT, but the group is full of very talented individuals and I encourage you to check them out.

Speaking of the talented , there are currently 21 of them. From oldest to youngest, the are Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas, Mark, Xiao Jun, Hendery, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, YangYang, Chenle, and Jisung. They are split into three units: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV.
